Door Ajar problem
I have a 99 F-250 crew cab and all of a sudden the door ajar light is staying on and the dome lights are staying on when all four doors are shut. I unhooked the battery to see if I could get something to reset itself, but when I hooked the battery back up, the lights came back on. Can anyone give me an idea what the problem might be?

I have found that spraying contact cleaner in the door lock mechanism will fix the problem for a little while, the contacts for the door ajar and dome light trigger are in the lock mechanism it self, after a while dirt and other things will stick to the grease and stop the contacts from making a connection that tell the truck when the door is closed or open.
