First of all we disconnected our internet to save on funds with the wife in school and all. But we also took on heavy damage in the ice storm Red Rider came out of it un scathed but our house is in pretty bad shape. We went to my inlaws when we lost power and went back to our to get clothes later on to find a tree branch in our bed room it went completely through the roof and the celing and broke our door off the bed room. We then had a branch that put a hole in the side of our house. Thank god no one was hurt and that we rent! Our landlord (my grandparents) said that all the insulation in the attic would dry out eventually and they aren't worried about it!!!!!!!!!!! Do to the strong possibility of mold we are moving to Moundridge this month sometime. I will try to check in every now and then.
well I hate to put all the blame on the school girl but I recently found out that I am going to Alaska after Becky gets out of school in May so I gotta save up not only that we are going to pe paying a little more in rent so it will be may or so before I am back full time. Take care all!!!!!!!
Thanks fellas I am positive everything will go well. We went to Moundridge yesterday and looked for a house to rent and weren't impressed so it looks like we will be here in Burrton untill May. I talked my grand parents into gutting the celing and putting new insulation and sheet rock in to get rid of the possible mold. But the bad thing is guess who the "contractor" is Yep it is me and my father-in-law its not a big job but it is a nasty one with the blow-in-insulation and the old plaster celing but never the less it will be done right. As for Alaska I am going up there to visit my uncle and go halibut and king salmon fishing on a guided tour. Lots of fun to be had up there.
Well fellas I am back for good. I got my internet hooked back up today and am back on line. Just had a chance to read all of your replies after my last one and I think a g2g is a fine idea but there is one problem I DON'T LIKE FISH OF ANY KIND but that won't stop me from bringing some back with me. My mom went last summer and has alot left he also sent her home with some bear meat.
Welcome back Jeremy, glad you had a safe and pleasent trip!!!! Would have been cool to take a ford buddy along (hint hint) but I won't hold it against ya lol.
I haven't gone yet Duane unless you are talking about the ice storm, being broke, and going through the living hell of the car dealership if I had known you wanted to accompany me on this journey I would have called you.
