Buy a code reader and do it yourself.

Lightbulb

If you go to fordfuelinjection.com they tell you how to pull codes with a paper clip, the sti connector and the CEL (Check Engine Light). You jumper the sti and read the blinks off the CEL. That site has other good info too. You probably should take note of the "Best Viewed" resolution they state and the appearance will be better. There is a box on the right side that overlaps info. when viewed at 800 x 600. You guys have Autozone in Canada??

Look for my pics in the galleries.
I detail exactly how to pull the codes.
(I took pictures of the steps they use at fordfuelinjection).

Hi! Just so you know, you can buy an inexpensive code reader at your CanadianTire store for really cheap, like around $25.00. Wal Mart also has them for about the same price. Your truck is an OBD1 so it's really a very basic code reader. You can, of course, DIY with a simple paper clip and watch your CEL.

Cheers!

Mike
