Mustang Mach 1 Stereo Problems?

Mustang Mach 1 Stereo Problems?
Has anybody here had any experience with the Mach stereo system in the mustangs? I have a 2001 with it and seem that the amplified speakers don't kick for awhile when it sits outside in the cold (somewhere from 5 or 10 above to 10 below zero).
Anybody have a favorite mustang site that is similar to FTE?
