Hey Tim, I believe we may be one step ahead of ya. We OKC FTE'ers have already begun having "Central Area" GTG's. Now granted I have personally only met 3 others from the forum, none the less it is a start. I am going to get a list of central area members phone numbers/email addys compiled. and I am working on a feb meet here in the OKC. I am thinking I-40 and meridian (food parking and hotels) great place for a GTG

I suppose I`ll venture out there Friday also.I have been watching these forums for months to pick up tips and see where to get some of the hard to find parts,me and my sons have been restoring an old 73 Ford F100.There not much help as they are 10 and six but it has been fun.I havn`t posted much out of not feeling I needed too. We own a business and between it and the kids and I play in a band most weekends my schedule is full and I can`t sit and talk on the computer much.I`m going to come out and hopefully meet some of the people that love the old Ford trucks as I do mine.My two sons are really excited because they love the truck and when we get ready to go somewhere they always want to ride in it. Sometimes I fire it up,sometimes we take one of the other vehicles.So I hope myself and my boys are welcome to join the meet as no one has said anything otherwise but it seems everyone knows one another and I don`t know anyone on the forum,so if I`m not welcome to come somebody let me know.Otherwise watch for a really slick 73 lwb two tone that is almost all original,the spare tire has never hit the ground,owners manual is still in the glove box.Purrs like kitten(except for the 7 miles to the gallon,oh well)there`s nothing like a freshly rebuilt big block.Hope to meet some of you Friday and Saturday.

Yea I play lead and sing lead and harmony,played in one of the Branson shows for years.Quit playing full time in the early 90`s and moved back opened a business and just play some weekends.Once a musican always a musician. Heya Tim. I'm up in the El Rio Vista Subdivision. I don't know what side of town you're in? If yer on the north side we could meet up in the parking lot of the Subway on 96th street. If yer off of 86th Street we could meet up in the Big Lots parking lot, south end? If yer on the south side(76th street) we could meet up in front of the Waffle House? Say around 1:20pm-1:30pm Saturday? Or if you've got a better location, lemme know. (FYI, I won't be able to push my truck past 65mph, just in case you wanna get there faster.)

I'm in Three Lakes. I can meet you in the Big Lots parking lot at 1:20. I'm only a block away from there. You should be able to recognize the Expy.

As for the speed, 65 is fine with me...it drinks way too much gas as it is!

I'm SSSOOOOOOOO there. Both days. I'll drive Red Friday since the weather will be warm and Blue Saturday cuz Red is very cold natured. I can't wait!!!!!
