I agree with that comment on Krispy Kremes.(But boy, they sure are yummy.) I just threw that out there in case it was gonna be a morning get together. Do ya'll think we can get together while there's still daylight out? If so, I'll bring a digital camera. And I'll eat at whatever restaurant is decided. I'm easy with food choices.

Hi all. In-laws are talking about going to Chickasha to visit their family sometime around Thursday. So, I might be able to make it down. I'm off on Fridays, but have to be home by 6pm on Sat when I go on-call for work. Let me know when & where and I'll try to be there.

As for the kid, well, she's just 10 days old. Haven't taken the time to announce it- until now I guess.

Exclamation

OK, It looks like there are going to be scheduling problems no matter what day is picked.

Who is in BA that can pick a location?

If we were to say Saturday afternoon when there is some daylight, who can make it?

Would 2:00 PM work?

We just need to get something going or this one is going to go out the door too....

I'm not trying to take charge here, just trying to help make something happen.

Ron, Mike, you 2 still willing to go to BA?

Stan, I know you have to work (Sorry) Did you find Alices number? Could you call her and see if Sat. afternoon would work for her?

Mark, you started this thing....do you know of a good place to meet?

Jim, if we can pull this off, will you drive down?

Everybody else, if you are interested and think you could do it, please put a post on here.

I threw out a day and time....somebody name the place. You can count me in. I WANNA MEET YOU PEOPLE!!!!!

OK, Since Mark aka WhiteKnight had suggested Duffy's on 81st and Elm in an earlier thread, why don't we shoot for there.

I just checked with a buddy from Broken Arrow and he told me that there is pretty good parking there.

Anyone?

If there are no objections, let's try that.

Cannot make it, I've got to be at work until 4:30pm. Sorry guy's. Would love to do it on Friday though.

Mark will probably be along here pretty soon, I think he's got a schedule as crazy as mine. I'll call Alice tonight and let her know, provided that an agreement has been made to meet at Duffy's at 2pm... so is this final? I think Ron was saying he's got alot of homework to do this weekend, but hopefully he can squeeze in some time. Gee... I hope I'm not putting words in anybody's mouths, lol, sorry I just realized this sounds like I'm committing everybody to something. I'm not sure if Jim will make it. I'm still awaiting a reply to the email I sent him. I hope he'll reconsider he decision, but who am I to blame him if he doen't?

Anyways, I sure wish I could make it guy's, but like I said, I have to be at work til 4. Take some pictures!

I'll take my digital camera along and take pictures.

I'm sorry we couldn't make it work for everybody, but without planning a month ahead, we will never get the majority of the people and even then, plans change at the last minute.

I think if we go for 2PM this Saturday, we will get some and then maybe we can start making plans for a February meet as soon as possible.

A little off topic, but when I was growing up in South Dakota, my family belonged to the Brown Swiss Association. Because the state was fairly large, the association had 2 different groups that met quite often and had a state meeting about twice a year.

That being said maybe that's what we need to do here. That way meet and greets could be done monthly and a state meet could be done 2 or 3 times a year.

Comments?

Oops! I just realized I really got off the main subject here. Let's go back to the original question: Who will be in BA at 2PM this Saturday.

Sorry again about the time Stan...next month we plan ahead.

Exclamation OK, make that...

Just so's I won't miss anybody...

I'll be there Friday too, after 2:00pm. Look for a crappy looking
little toad of a white 1980 Dodge D-50. I'll be the fat guy in camo
overalls/white shirt/camo baseball cap with the words "got beer?".
I doubt I'll be hard to find.
