Where are you? It is hard to know where some of the posters are from, some have a profile stating a city/town and afew facts about themselves but most don`t. This makes it hard if not impossible to know where you are from and what you are working on. I am from the Clavet area about 10 minutes east of Saskatoon. I am into Ford/Mercury trucks 53/56,69 and 65/67,83/88 Mustangs, plus the smaller Rangers .
I live right in Saskatoon, moved here about 8 years ago from Central Butte. I always wanted a 56 ford and a year ago I finaly got one. There are several modern modifications planed for the truck in the next few years and hope to put up a website detailing them all some time.
I am in La Ronge, been here 14 years from Ontario.
38, married, 2 kids (G11; B17), 3 dogs (collies and yorkie)
Have a 59 F100 short box, daily driver, rusty with a cool little 223 3 spd. Plans are to upgrade the brakes front and back. Doing the disc brakes on the straight axle and a newer rear end with wider brake shoes. Then learn how to do bodywork and a big can of Rustoleum.
Also have a 67 Mustang fastback with a 390 C6. This is just a wanna be car though as it has been in a box since 1987 !!!
8 miles east of Davidson on 747. My two 51 Mercury M-3's. I've grown up on the farm. One thing is great that I have all the room I need for my truck parts as they would take up almost a lot in saskatoon without a house.

What is the 58 Merc M500 like and why would you want to sell it? Too many toys? Any approximate idea of the price?

Great to hear from you again. Don`t know when the next meeting is for certain, we had talked about the last Tue/Wed of each month. We would like to have them once a month to keep the interest up and to have personal contacts/discussions . Will start a posting tonite for a meeting time. It`s nice to be able to put a face to the Forums users and meet some really great people, the last meeting was a good start. Keep your stick on the ice! We`re all in this together.(quoting Red/Green, anybody watch that show?)
Thanx for the comments lockups!!!!!!!! It is always great to get some positive remarks for all the hard work a person does to their trucks! It makes all the long nites and bashed knuckles seem worthwhile!!!!!!!
