unit for use only in bad weather? controlled by a remote... thinking

When you think about it and of you're creative enough, you could make anything work. How well and how reliably however, that is a different question.

I have been thinking on the idea of a rear wiper assembly too and I was looking at the explorer and Expeditions. The little doohickey that lifts the wiper arm opff the window in park would solve the issue of the wiper sticking to the window or getting in the way when you lower the glass.

My opinion, the tailgate is the place for it to go. As Greystreak said, you'll twist it right out of the fiberglass top the first time you're in a hurry to go somewhere and forget to clear that ice from it first.

REVERSE ENGINEERING ROCKS!!! Take a field trip to a junkyard and take a close look at how some of the other vehicles are set up from the factory but...don't just limit yourseld to the blue oval because...

COPYCATTING ROCKS TOO!!!
