DON'T DO IT!!! God I hate it when people hack the doors for speakers! Build some boxes and throw them behind the seat..oh wait, you can't do that because of the fuel tank! Guess you are SOL! Well, if you really have to hack the doors, trace the hole size on the door, using the template that came with the speakers. Remove the door panels and make sure you have the proper clearance inside the door for the speaker structure. If you don't, put them somewhere else. On the lower front of these doors, there should be plenty of depth though...BUT CHECK FIRST!!! Get a jig saw with a good quality metal cutting blade ( small tooth....have extras...you might brake one ) ...drill a series of starter holes around the perimiter of the pencil mark you just made with the template.. Use a drill bit that is larger in diameter than the blade, so the blade will fit in the hole. Insert the jig saw into the starter hole and start cutting. Have a friend hold the door still while you hack away. I would suggest going to a high end stereo supplier and buying some of those foam cups that the speakers fit it to keep water from dripping down on the speakers and frying them the first time you go to the car wash.

I used to work in a high priced stereo shop and we did not cut the door we would make fiberglass kick panels.A local shop should make you a pair for 100.00-200.00 but it will be worth it.

I agree, I hate it when the doors are cut up and to have kick panels made to save the doors seems like the best. The worst is when some lowlife bone head uses a torch to cut the door and warps the metal, not a class act!
