Hello all. First post here. I just bought a 95 F250 with the 7.3. (213k miles)
I have a fuel leak on top of the engine that looks to be coming from a large bolt (1 1/8") going into the rear end of what I think is a fuel rail.
This is where two small metal fuel lines mount to one huge metal tube. Right below the turbo.
Can anyone tell me if there is an O ring in there and if I need to releive any type of high pressure before I repair it ?
yeah thats the banjo bolt in the back of the fuel pump. just crack is slow rest of fuel will bleed out. if under pressure would be 40 psi. you can get replacement orings for them and it takes care of it.
