my buddies 82 F150 does the same thing it sits at his dad's farm and never gets used. Shame since it has a brand mew longblock with 1000 miles on it.
Check the rubber hose that goes to the caliper sometimes it swells and lets pressure past it to the caliper but not back. If its not that get a reman caliper.

the caliper is probably sticking look a the pads if the one opposit the piston (outerpad) is all worn down the caliper is sticking on the slides take it apart clean the sliding areas on the caliper(top and bottom) clean the caliper mount and the sliding beam and spring bar lube with never sieze as long as your doing one do both old trucks get rusty
