Not necessarly, the wheels are supposed to have some curl to the edge. Unless it is showing low boost,a funny noise or vibration then there is no need to worry. If you can take a picture of it and post it it will be easier to tell if you have a problem.

How do you unplug the EBPV?

My connector is in a small cable (2 conductors, I think) at the back of the engine on the driver's side. It hangs around close to the connector that goes through the valve cover gasket at the rear of the engine. One end of the cable runs down under the turbo, the other runs up to the front of the engine along the top side of the valve cover. I just unplugged it and secured the loose ends with zippy ties. Not sure if mine is in the same place as stock, though, since the engine has been pulled and overhauled (not by me).

Ok blue smoke would be low compression and bad rings, so your lack of blue smoke is a good sign.
EVERY intake turbo wheel I have ever seen has a razor sharp straight edge on the leading edge of every blade - no curl. If there is a curl to it I would think that it's been sandblasted!

You need a new wheel. I just put the Swisher wheel in mine a few months ago to cure the compressor stall and the old wheel came out with STRAIGHT leading edges on every blade. If removed I could have cut tomatoes with them they were so sharp. The new wheel that went back in looked a little different in that the leading edges of the blades were staggered in height but the leading edges were straight as a ruler and just as sharp.

I second the "straight and sharp". Mine was sharp enough on the leading edges to cut my finger when I was installing it. If you have anything broken off or bent, then you should replace it.

I the blades are a little curled or a corner missing in will not affect you that much, maybe 1-2 lbs boost at the most, there is no urgent need to replace the wheel. We have run trucks that had this for several thousand miles with no problems.

The pieces that are missing have long gone thru the motor and shouldn't have been a problem, looks like something other than dust has gotten in there. It appers from the picture that it has been this way for some time it, if you are going to replace the wheel I would have a shop check out the bearings or rebuild it completely since it will be apart already. But it wouldn't hurt it to run it for a while.
