I have located a source for a C7TZ-8200-H grille and really hope that it will
interchange with C8TZ-8200-E. They tell me it is a bright finish grille and I think the only difference is that the 67 is not painted black between the horizontal bars. They haven't quoted me a price, but I'm sure it will be high.
Any confirmation regarding the interchangeability will be greatly appreciated.
The 67 grille will fit on your 68, but it is not the same style as a 68 grille. For originality purposes you'll want a 68 or 69 model grille. The 67 grilles were slightly different from the 68-69 grilles. 70,71, and 72 grilles were all different and changed slightly each year.

Reason: wrong year of truck
Thanks for both replies gargoyle and johnt. In the meantime, they quoted me a price of 450 for the 67. I'm going to pass, so anyone interested, let me know and I'll give you the source. ejgator shallotte-nc net.
Also in the meantime, I've seen a 68 grille on ebay, but have asked for additional pictures, as it doesn't have the black paint on the vertical pieces between the horizontal bars. Do any of you know if that disqualifies it as a 68???
nearly all 68's I have seen had white painted grill, not chrome (aluminum). The 70, 71, and 72 outer shells were the same. The grey plastic inner inserts were different. 70-squares; 71-1 horizontal bar, 2 vertical bars; 72-1 horizontal bar, 1 vertical bar.

From what little that I can remember only the Rangers in 67/68 had chrome grills while my 69 F100 custom and my 71 F350 custom both have chrome grills that appear to be orginal.
