heating Problem

I have a 90 Bronco II. About two months ago I didn't have enough anti-freeze in it and it froze up. (too much water) Ever since I have had problems with it. The temp gage would show it getting hot and then drop off and shot back up about every minute or two. I replaced the thermostat and things got better but now it won't blow any hot air. The water pump and heater core are less than two years old. Any one got any ideas?

Thanks

radiator clogged did you flush the system ? did you change the temp sensor? check your cooling system entirely somethings it's the least thing you expect.

my bii did the same thing. i replaced the heater core and it wouldn't get very warm, plus the engine temp guage would go up and down. theproblem was that my heater core was only half full. this being pretty much a sealed system, it could not fill up. i removed the hoses so that they were only hooked to the core. then flushed the core only to ensure that it was full. i hooked it back up and now it will melt your face off.(ha ha!!) it is worth trying.
