Strange electrical problem

Hi,

I have an 89, 2.9 4WD. Lately in 4WD the ABS light comes on and at the same time the heater fan and signal lights stop.

If I stop and take it out of 4WD the heater/turn signals come back.

I can't see how the 2 can be related, but I hope someone here can think of something.

TIA,

Chris.

i would ask ken00 or mrshorty for some help.

Welcome to FTE!!

All three of your problems seem to be related to fuse 5 & 9 and those two fuses seem to be linked based on my wiring diagram. Check for power at those fuses when it happens. Can't find anything related to the 4wd.

Also both of those circuits are powered through the ignition switch.
