360 engine help
If not, the basics: Does it turn over easy? Pull coil wire and crank til you get some oil pressure(changing oil/filter would be a good start). Does it have a full tank of bad gas? Drain and fill with clean new gas. Might want to change fuel filter(if it has the one mounted to fuel pump). Pour some gas in carb and try to start. If plugs/wires/cap/rotor/points in poor shape you might want to replace them too, it depends on how much you plan on using truck.
I think I covered most of the big items. Good Luck.

1. Change oil / filters. ALL the filters.
2. New points / condensor / cap / rotor / plugs / plug wires. Set plug gap to .035", and point dwell to about 28 degrees. Before you fire it up the first time set the point gap to .017" with a feeler gauge.
3. Squirt some oil down each cylinder while you have the spark plugs out. A couple shots from an oil can should work ok.
4. If it doesn't run right after you fire it up rebuild the carburetor. I would anyway just to get the varnish out. Mine was sitting longer than yours, but it was completely filled up with scale and other junk. Oh the barnacles...
5. Fire it up.
