temp fix for rear window dash switch

just thought i would post this in case anyones rear window switch in the dash goes out. you can wire it up to where you can still use the key to put the window down until you replace the switch. the way you do it is if you look at the connector with the single prong on the bottomand number it from left to right like this:
1 2
3 4
5
you then wire 2 and 3 together and 4 and 5 together.

i had to do this because when my rear window went out and so did the switch and i couldnt get to a dealer ship right then. so the mechanic did this for the time being so i could still use the window. it was only suppose to be temporary but then i kinda forgot about it and got bored the other night and bought a new switch and replaced it. this is about 2 years after the window was fixed... my excuse is that college has kept me busy and now that classes are about to start again i might as well as get it fixed. anyway i hope this helps some of the many broken windows out there...
