The bolt holes will line up, and it is the same diameter
but the 300 flywheel will not be the proper balance for
your 302. Your 1978 302 needs a flywheel for an early 302
or 351W with the 28 oz. balance.
The OEM part number is:
D7TE-6375-GA (got one in my garage!)
There is also a newer part number for this flywheel ...
E8??-6375-??
but a dealership or parts store should be able to
cross reference it for you.
