12volt backup sump pump?

What are your opinions on the 12volt backup sump pumps? Do they really move enough water and do they last very long?

I worked for a mechanical company and the only ones we would install were the "Watch Dog" brand, rest were junk.We wouldn't install other brands even when the customer bought them.
