The 352 one is available as a repro from LMC. I had some fitment issues with it on my truck, but it may not have been a problem with the part but my crusty existing parts.
they use to be avaliable fron Ford, but not anymore..I saw one on Ebay awhile back, wish I had bought it, I've run without one at times but don't like to do it...
I guess I don't understand the importance. I don't live in a cold climate so I may have not noticed the benefits. The main problem with mine is the spring rusted in half. Anyone have a spring made for them? Other than that I don't see any problems with my existing unit. I found one of the springs at a scrap yard that was in perfect shape but would not come off. Figured I would ruin it in the process of removing it.

I live in a warm climate also but preffer to run one so the manifold heats, this helps vaporize/atomize the fuel so your not dumping raw fuel into the cylinders which may was oils off the cylinder wall and cuase premature cylinder or ring wear, thats just my theory...I don't know how to get the spring off, I've never done it sucessfuly, maybe they are spot welded to the shaft? the spring holds the flap in position to send heat to the manifold until exuast pressure over takes it
