While replacing my heater core....

This morning, the unmistakable aroma of antifreeze, a foggy windshield, and green drips on my Huskyliner told me that I needed a new heater core. While changing it, I came across 2 boxes that I couldn't identify. One was black and about the size od a bar of soap. The other was gold and and rectangular. Anybody know what they are?

Electrical? Behind the passenger side kick panel? One is the 4WD shift module, the other is the RABS computer. 92's only had rear ABS. The really big one is the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) {main computer}.

Both boxes had electrical connections. The gold one was right in front of the heater core shield (between the glove box and the heater core) and had to be removed to access the core itself. The black one was off to the side, closer to the A/C duct and was blocking one screw. I was just curious as to what they were. Guess I could disconnect them and see what doesn't work (just kidding!).
