Also what have you guys done to dress up your trucks? I looked at Billet grilles, but don't want to spend that much. I want to keep it $100 to $200 for now.
The only exterior thing I have done is a bug shield. Thanks for your help.

this list could go on and on.........
This is what I'd really like:Light Bar
But that would not allow me to park my truck in the garage anymore. Or a functional ram air hood, but those are $$
Anyone have platinum faced gauges? White is on back order, so I either have to wait or put these in. They do happen to match my a-pillar autometers.
Thanks!

Stainless grill inserts: $80 - look great with the painted grill
Stainless Rocker panels: $200 - look good on darker colored vehicals (hard to see on white and silver trucks)
Stainless bedrails - $200 - great accent if you have the cab steps.
Stainless Cab Steps - $300-$500-functional and look nice
Molded Mud-Flaps/Splash gaurds - $40-100 - help with chips but not perfect
Stampeed Bug defeltor and Vent Visors - $100 & $100 - don't know if they do much but do add a little something to the pizaz of your truck.
Bed Cover - nice, functional, also gives some contrast to the exterior. range from $300-900 depending upon the style and brand
If you buy a bed cover get a tailgate seal as your box will become a dust pit without one. $30
Remote Starter/keyless Entry/ Alarm - nice when living in the northern climates when temps start dipping below zero. $200-$800 you can go crazy with these like any electronics.
Vinal pin striping-$100-$500 - I personally like just a simple pin stripe - I put a black and silver one on the top body line and really like the definition it gives the body. also you can have just about any design made or thought up.
This ones a bit pricy but RIMS and TIRES make a hudge difference - I went with AR Slider Chrome Polished rims @ $220 per rim. The right tire will give it a much nicer stance over the factory stuff. I went with 75/285/R16s but each brand will look a little different. tires ran $165 a peice. Wouldn't waist my money again on tires untill the truck actually needed a new set. I didn't get cr%$ out of the old ones when I tried to sell them.
just pick up a aftermarket book from a local parts dealer and you'll get more Ideas than you can probably aford. thats what I started with and it helped tremendously, also watch for other SD in your area and look for what makes them look good and bad. sure helps the decision making.
