Motor locked up!!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 17-Oct-02 AT 00:06 AM (EST)]My 351w started knocking a while back, so I was moving it under the tree to pull the motor out and it locked up. Got the motor out tonight, pulled the pan and there was a piston in about 100 pieces in there. Rings, everything! Get this! Before I pulled the motor, I pulled the drain plug to drain the oil out and about half of it was water!! Going to pick up a reman. longblock from Advanced Auto friday. Hope they take my core block. I`m ready to get my truck on the road again. I`m ready to get off the porch!! That dog won`t hunt!!LOL!! Oh well, I`ll let ya`ll know how it comes out. Later men!!
