I Am Headin To The Outter Banks Soon And Would Appreciate Some Input On Sand Driving With My New 6.0. Stuff Like Tire Pressure, Air Filter Main. And Some Good Fishin Spots Would Be Great
In the sand, I think with the wieght of that truck anything under 10 psi will break the tire off the rim. Change the filter when you get back if you were kicking up a bunch of sand, or the wind is blowing.
And for the fishing, I suggest you find something else to waste your time on. J/K Its not my cup of tea.

I usually go to the outterbanks about 3 times a year. The 6.0 will do great in the sand... Just air tires down to about 20 psi. As for good fishing spots.. They are all good. I normally get on the beach at ramp 55 and fish all the way to the point. Good luck
The rockfishing is awesome this time of year. Charter a boat for a full or half day and you can almost always catch fish until your arms cramp up. Rock are great eating if you have never had them.
PM me if you would like a referral or two concerning captains.
Check out oregon-inlet.com for some rockfish pics if you wanna see some nice fish.
Also, surf fishing will be relatively slow until mid March of so..
Take a fishing charter out of Cape Hatteras. Theyll take you where you want to go. MAke sure you fill up the windshield washer bottle. You will end up with salt depoits all over your truck this time of year and the windshield will become translucent overnght. One last thing, I seem to remember that they take a pretty dim view of driving on the beach in NC. Plenty of sand off of the beach though. Have fun.
