t205 transfer case fluid?

I drained the fluid from my t205 transfer case and was going to refill with 80w-90 but the fluid that drained is definately not that heavy. What type of fluid is recomended?

My ford owners & shop manuals list ford p/n's rather than the fluid type. A lot of help that is.

Your first thread about this was moved to the drivetrain forum you will find it there.

The topic is fluid in a part,this has Nothing to do with being year specific. (73-79)
