Largest Wheel/Tire Combo

So , What would be the largest wheel/tire combination that could safely be put on a standard non-lifted 1986 Bronco XLT?
Thanks
Tom

Welcome to FTE Tom. This topic has been discussed in length many times. I suggest you use the search function to decide for yourself what the answer is. Many say you can squeeze a 33" in there.

well i would be careful in choosing tires, i have a 91, and i have 32x11.50x15 BF Goodrich all terrains, they work great, but they rub the a-arms a little if i turn it all the way to the pins.

Hi
I'm assuming your talking about this on 15 inch rims, Right?
Thanks

Tom,

I had been running Goodyear MTR 32 x 11.50's on 15" rims on an '88 and they tend to rub a little on the a-arms when making tight turns. Now the bronc turns more like an F-150 reg cab / box. Hope this helps.

Don
