power steering fluid leak

hey!
not only did my parking break freeze, i had a flat and now a powersteering fluid leak,
The powersteering fluid is leaking just below the fluid fill reservoir. It looks like there is some sort of nut attachment there. Forgive me but i do not know much about this area of my truck. all i know is i need to fix this in order to sell it!
so my question is this, is there simply a connection that broke loose due to the cold temps? or is it something more serious? I know it could be a number of things, but I really don't know where to start.
as always, any advice is very much appreciated!

The Coupling in the house is probaly shot mine was. bought a new hose for it and never had a problem. go to your auto store and tell them you need a power steering high pressure hose for you b2 more in likely they'll have it. i had mine done in about 2 hours 1 1/2 hours werstling the hose into position very stiff.

Good Luck Hope that helps

jakes29-
i just went through replacing a leaky power steering hose, mine was leaking and would squirt onto the manifold when turned to the max and smoke like crazy. 20 bucks and a couple hours later new hose installed and hasnt leaked since. It is a little tricky gettin that thing in there the hose is not only stiff but needs to be on there aligned right so you dont cross thread the coupling into the reservoir. I ended up taking the whole pump off because it stripped the old hose nut. i reccomend using fitting wrenches, and have some extra power steering fluid ready for refill. by the way have a pan or cup ready to catch all the power steering fluid that comes out when you take the hose off.

There is a big o-ring where the plastic reservoir tank and metal pump go together. You can get o-ring kits at the parts store. To get the tank off, you have to take the hose fitting out. The tank will then just pull off the pump unit.
