Trailoring a car??

im thinking about buying this 1989 ford bronco II 4X4.

i'm not even sure if there are any laws on what kind of vehicle you need to have in order to trailor a car. but would this be a suitable truck to trailor a car?

It depends some on how big of a car, but I'm going to vote no, because it sounds like you're looking for something to regularly tow a car with. Reasons:
1) Short wheelbase, which is, by nature, more unstable as a tow vehicle. Add the fact that a car is a pretty big load (you didn't say what kind of car) and I'd be looking for something bigger
2) These are light duty trucks. The transmission (in particular the A4LD automatic) is barely adequate to haul its own weight around, let alone the weight of another car on a regular basis.

If I were in the market for truck to tow another car on a regular basis with, I'd be looking for something a little bigger.

the car weighs less than 2500 lbs.. thanks for your answers though. i seen in the paper a 1987 ford f250 with a 351 motor. this would be a better truck for the purpose, correct?

Yes, a 3/4 ton truck will do a much better job. It might even be a little overkill, but, when searching for a tow vehicle, I would rather have something a little overqualified than something marginally qualified.
