Chips for Gas Excursions ?

Ok here's the question...

I've heard and read the posts about how wonderful the Diablo chip is (as well as others) and it all sounds good. But do they make something like this - a performance chip - for the 5.4L gas such as what's in my Excursion? I am happy with the performance so far but if it can go faster with more torque and more power then that would be a good thing!

Anyone know anything 'bout this?

For your 2004 you'll need an SCMT ( http://www.motorhaven.com/home.php?cat=273 ) rather than a chip. It'll help, but that SUV is way underpowered with a 5.4 and the power to weight ration the power gain the tuner will give isn't going to be huge. Expect to have a pleasant increase, but not a rocket sled!

Thanks for the info webmaster. No I wasn't expecting a rocket sled just maybe pick up a few more hp and improve the mileage a bit. I know my Ex has a small engine but I didn't get the Excursion to do triple digit speeds...I like the room and comfort it gives as I casually travel down the highway! I want to look at the scenery - not be a part of it!
