Is it worth it ?
we went to look at a truck today. it is a 78 2x4 with factory dual tanks, bedside toolbox. interior is a little rough but i have seen worse. exterior looks to be in ok shape. but what i really really like about this truck is the 460 that it came with including all brackets and pulleys. a/c is still hooked up too. we poured a little gas in it, put in a fresh battery, and it fired right up after sitting for over a year. i did'nt see any smoke or hear any funny noises either. i noticed it has an aluminum intake for a 4v carb but it has an adapter plate with a 2v sitting on top. it also has headers. looks like i may have found the perfect donor for my supercab truck. the wife likes the truck and wants the 351m put in it so she can drive it. and the guy says he'll take payments. total price??? 1000.00 american. sound like a good deal to anyone else or am i an idiot??? thanks, Eddie II
