Another exhaust question
I have found the following on ebay, but the statement on the downpipe is interesting, enough so that maybe all one would need is a good CatBack? It is about the best price I found for a 6.0 as I have been quoted over $700 for a banks and around $600 for others. i do not plan to add any programers anytime soon, just want to better the performance for some light towing and overall use. They also offer a 4 inch version, virtually the same.
Premium performance 5" exhaust system for 2003-2004 Ford F series w/6.0 Powerstroke diesel. This complete turbo back kit is precision fit without welding and fits all wheel bases including crew cabs. The down pipe has a pyrometer fitting for an exhaust temperature gauge. The down pipe is 3 1/2"(the largest diameter pipe that will fit) to the muffler and 5" out. Dyno tests show this arrangement maximizes the increase in horsepower. Includes a high performance straight through muffler.
