question on fuel pressure and N/A & blower motors

I came here seeking some answers on the importance of Fuel Pressure. a friend of mine told me that I run the risk of blowing up my blower motor if my fuel pressure drops. wouldn't the engine just lose power first?

would would an engine blow up if you lost fuel pressure. the engine I'm talking about is a BB ford with a blower and the electronic holley throttle bodies on the blower.

thanks in advance.

You would definitely run into some problems if it runs lean.

fuel psi is very critical to engine performance and operation..
running it lean w/full boost could be very, very bad...

Running a motor LEAN will destroy it.....YES!

It will be down on power to a point. But even normal driving with it being very lean will melt a piston land and could be catastrophic. Under high boost, it could happen and very quickly.

I run a rich/lean gage on my motor just to keep tabs on it. It's a pretty plain jane motor and the old cast pistons DEFINITELY need watched over. I only run 5-6 lbs of boost at the present time, so it should survive for awhile.
