Carb hat?

Hi forced induction know-alls! I was wondering who makes or sells carb hats. That is what I think they are called anyways. It is different from a carb box but has the same purpose. I found a black plastic one somewhere but I was looking for a metal one like aluminum. Thanks.

Check ebay. Do a search for turbos and you'll find someone selling aluminum hats...about $200.

I posted this in another thread. www.turbomustangs.com/forums
I'm sure you'll find answers there. Good luck!

www.performancecarburetors.com has them for $167.00. I was looking for one that was cheaper. Where did you find the plastic one? I am going to use it for a cold air induction.

I thought I saw the plastic one on ebay. It might have been somewhere on the internet as well. It was black and I think it would crack.

Thank you. Cracks are not good, don't rack your brains over it. If you happen to see another plastic one please let me know. Thank you once again.
