I am new to the site and I just gained possesion of a 1952 ford f-1. The body is very straight with minor rust where the fenders meet the hood it has a 215ci inline six. I think i am going to keep it stock for the body except the 3 inch chop in process. If you guys have any ideas as far as drivetrain and suspension please leave a message.
If I were rodding a truck like yours, I would trick out a vintage engine. Clifford Performance sells performance parts for Ford sixes (I believe there are some for the 215). A decked-out I6 would make a very distinctive rod. My other suggestion would be to soup a flathead V8 and install that.
