eVENTHOUGH A MIRROR SITE HAS BEEN REPOSTED TO THE NET- FROM j. sINGLETON'S ORIGINAL...tHE POWER WINDOWS FIX LINK IS NO GO. stoopid caps..sorry.
Has anyone done this fix ? ie Remove the window regulator? I know there is a bolt or two and then some rivets to drill out but where and which and how to ummm re rivet ? bolts ? gorilla glue ?
i spoke to a fella in NY today about him rebuilding mine and even he couldnt tell how to get it out ! And he services 250 different types..
i know for a fact the regulator slides out of the track attached to the window and at the end of the track thier a 2 tabs you have to bend out of the way to get it to slide out. and you have to remove the felt guide out too then the window will come out as for the regulator i would un bolt it and drill out the rivits and then when having it put back in i would just get some small bolts and nuts and bolt it all back into place good luck i have never had to pull my regulator out but i had the window come un glued and had to remove the felt and glass and the top track that holds the glass and the regulator for the window to go up good luck it is a pain dont be surprized if you cut a couple of nuckels open because of the sharp edges and the tight space
