I am looking for a good front end alignment shop here in the Houston area. I have gone to one place already and he has worked on it 3 times and it still pulls to the right. Any help is much appretiated.
Could be another problem with the front end. Did the alignment shop inspect the front end thoroughly? Don't know 'bout Houston area alignment shops, sorry. Good Luck
There isn't much to align on these trucks, 99-04 generally they only check the toe alignment. a couple of things you might want to check though. tire pressure can cause them to pull one way or the other, also check the brake calipers, it may be hanging up a little. make sure that They can move freely when pressure is applied. one other thing that can make them pull is grease, oil,or brake fluid on the pads, be sure the pads are clean, use some good brake cleaner or if they look to bad replace them.
Have the tires been rotated or replaced recently? Could also be a bad tire. I had the same problem with my old Cheby. Tire shop checked alignment and components, everything was fine. Shop rotated tires and problem went a way. They can have a "directional bias" the shop called it.
Could also be a dragging wheel bearing? Or anything the previous posts mentioned?
Thanks for all the help. The truck only has 22,000 miles on it. I took it to one local shop and he worked on it 3 times with no change. I will try NTB thats not a very far drive.
