I came across this old picture. It's a little bigger than a post card. I got it in '77 at the local Ford dealer. (Picture in gallery) It didn't scan very well, but the back came out good. The one in the top is clearly a 1/2 ton although I have never seen a 1/2 sno-patrol. The red one has a dana 44 front. My '79 was a sno-patrol originally and it didn't have dual tanks or a dana 60 front, I added them later.
Aye the sno-patrol would not have come with dana 60's, the sno-fighter was the model that came with the 60's

Hey, i like them sno patrol pictures. Ive been tryin to figure out if my truck was one cause i'm pretty sure it had a factory plow on it befor i got it.
Thanks Mark, printed the pic right away. As for the sno-fighter vs. sno-patrol not sure on that one. Until someone posts up a pic of the sno-fighter sticker the patrol will have to work. My truck did come with 60's front and rear.
i have a 78 F-250 sno fighter, 351m 2bbl, full time 4whl, 60s front and rear, and sway bars f/r, the PO told me it said sno patrol on the original bed.....thanx again mark for getting that picture up for us....im about to tear mine down and sandblast the frame, the pennsylvania salt rotted it out good, im half afraid its too far gone, i really want to restore this truck though, i got it for free and dont want to give up on it, i have pics in my gallery but without the plow it looks like any other F-250 without a bed...lol....
