OK, I just bought my 99 F250 SD, PSD, and things are going good so far. My buddy just bought a ( he has alot more $ than I do obviously) 05 king ranch 4wd... He didnt like the tan running boards on his truck so he took them off after 2 days. He says they would look good on my truck which is green w/ the tan bottom. I am not sure, anyone wanna give me their opinions on this? thanks
Bolt (or somehow hold) one side on and throw some pics up here. I'm sure you'll get alot more opinions then. I can't really picture what it would look like but it sounds like it would look pretty good. If they're free, take 'em!!
I puchased the same boards for my 04. I ran all wires into cab but because the dome cab lights are on a time delay, I can't find the proper wire to splice into so they go on & off with the dome cab lights......Anybody out there that can tell me where to look?
I think the running boards look better than the chrome tube steps I have on my o4 SD CC, however, the chrome step is lower and makes it easier to get up into the truck.

I mounted lighted boards on my 2000 SC and ran into the same problem. I removed the cab mounted brake light assembly and identified what color of wires went to the clear lights. Then I removed the rear seat upright and found the wire bundle going to the cab mount brake light assembly. You can find it on the drivers side where the rear of the cab meets the floorboard. Tap into the wires there. Sorry, I don't remember the colors now. Hope that helps.
