wiring harness

so i was getting a code and counld not clear it so i had to go to ford

well they found the problem
it seems that the factory harness lays on the fender and shock tower
this cut through two wires well the tech said it melted the insulation because of the tower
i would suggest everyone check their truck before you have a problem like i did
it was the driver side

Early reports here DID state some had wire chafing, actually hadn't heard of this in a while....

good reminder for everyone...

i have the 5.4 but since it is the main harness from the fire wall it probably happenes on all of the trucks
