I'm buying a new Ford A.S.A.P. My problem is deciding between V-10 or PSD. I tow a 13k 5th wheel camper on occasion & a 12k equipment trailer obout once a month.I only drive 4 miles to work & back. Is the extra 5k worth it for the PSD?
i have a 2001 psd and tow a 28 ft fifth wheel & a small trailer with dirt bikes behind that, andi also have afull set of gauges to monitor the vitals, and have diablo sport tuner. the pulling power is awsome up and down some steep hills here in southern ca, and the good thing about the psd i have a bd exhaust brake to. it works great when towing heavy loads in town or on the road. i am still on the factory brake pads, at 68,000, that to me is worth the extra money spent on the 50 dollar oil changes every 5,000 miles.
