steering column slip joint
Hello, I was wondering wear I might be able to get a new steering column slip joint for my 1988 F- 250 four wheel drive pickup. I was into the ford dealer who said the part was discontinued as of last year. The truck has quite a lot of slop in it due to wear on this part. I thought there might be an aftermarket supplier for these parts. It is the piece just below the u-joint on the steering column where a hexagonal shaft fits inside a similar female piece. These parts are worn badly. Thanks for your help. YC

Check out www.Green*******mpany.com, I bought some obsolete Ford parts from them last year. I am not sure if that website is still up, but check it anyway. Some of the users here at FTE have very useful galleries and if you look there you can find some other suppliers , I am sure.
