A/C problems
I have a 1997 Ford Ranger with the 3.0 V6...It's winter time so my a/c doesnt run as much, but lately here in SC it has been 70 degrees so the other day i turned the a/c on, and the compressor did not engage, and after checking the fuses, it clicks on for a min and the off for a few, not normally on off, but it clicks off long enough for the air to start blowing warm air again, this is with the setting on for the coldest setting. It got to the point where sometimes when i turned it to a/c it wouldnt come on at all, and the other times it just wouldnt work right, could it be that fuses are not getting a good connection or something, and i know about the fuses just inside the door panel, but should i look for others, and is there any other connections i need to check...and one more note, my check engine light came on, for a lil while, but went back off..i havent tired to run the a/c yet today, but i will see if it is still doing it, but i would like to fix the problem, not just wait for it to come back.
thanks
