blower motor?

blower motor?

have a 95 explorer with climate control, here's the problem, the wife was driving it the other day, when she smelt something burning and the truck filled with smoke. my first instinct was heater core. but when i tried the heat, nothing. then tried the rear heater, it blows but no heat. does it sound like the blower motor is fried? also where is it located and is it hard to replace? as i'm a newbie at this.

I think you have other issues. Sounds or rather smells like you had some wiring or other item burn up.

I would start checking fuses and then you will probably have to start looking behind the panel and seeing if wires are burnt up.
