used the truck tonight and found out one of the dash lights is out. don't know when i'll get to it, so i was wondering what to expect. easy to get to bulbs? it is the one that lights up between the speedometer and the tachometer. will i only have to take the front cover off that goes over the guages? thanks. i would have searched, but i still don't see that option.
You have to pull the cluster from the dash to get to the bulbs on the backside. They just twist out and then pull straight out of their holders. The thing that baffles most people is the speedo cable connector - just push straight down on the rear (relative to the truck) and then pull the white collar forward. Also, you have to use a hook probe to release the wiper & headlight ***** from their shafts.
