Check engine light... dont know what to do
Nope...well, maybe. The code is "EGR insufficient flow", for somewhere in the EGR system, btw.
I have dealt with the code real recently. If you did a search for "code 332", you'd have found my bit on that. Naughty, naughty!
Before you replce a $70 sensor, check the 2 hoses running from that sensor to the EGR tube and check the EGR tube as well. It might be clogged. In my case, the hose that is downstream on the tube was cut off on the bottom half...just hung there lopping out fumes, making me think I had an ehaust leak! Replaced with 2 tranny cooler hoses 5/16" and done.
I got lucky. I got lazy afterwards and did not pull the computer fuse (in the relay box) and clear the code so the light flashed for a moment every so often to alert me. EVEN IF THE LIGHT IS OFF, THERE CAN BE A CODE IN MEMORY!
The Haynes manual you will be buying shows you what to check in the EGR system. Put it back on your shopping list. Now.
Good job for not just saying, :Hey, CE light...toss in O2 sensor and pray for the best!" I should be getting that money for the heck of it!
