Hey guys, my 99 Ranger's door ajar light is always on and it won't go off?, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem?, could it be wiring?, or a loose senosr?, if anyone has any input it would greatly be appreciated , thanks guys.-Ryan
buy stock in WD40 cause even after a while the new sensors will do the same thing.....or you can take out the dome lights and put a piece of black tape over the door ajar light like I did
I had same problem, and my dealer could not find it. I adjusted the lower, door latch striker plate (by trial and error) and I have not had problem since, for two years.
Just spray them. I had mine replaced, they started doing exactly the same thing with-in 6 months. I've sprayed with WD-40 and have gone a year. Just finished doing mine for the 4th time last weekend...
