Rim width for stock tires on 92 Bronco

What is the range of rim widths that will work for stock tires on a Bronco (they're something like P215/75R15, whatever was standard on a Custom)? Is 8" too wide?

Thanks,

8" is only 1/2" wider than the stock rims. They will be fine. Most tire manufacturers recommend that the rim be no less than 2" narrower than the section width of the tire mounted to it.
