I'm getting the 214 code and what I have read its the cam sensor. First where is this sensor? Can this be fixed without changing the entire thing? Like could the wire plug be bad? I have the Haynes and the Chilton manuals and they are not alot of help, just enough info for me too screw up. Thanks Tony
kymagred,
Send me a email and I'll send you the instructions. It's pretty simple but I think I would put a meter on the connector when you take it off from the sensor and make sure you have juice up to that point. That way you've eliminated the wiring harness as a problem. $300 bucks you want to make sure!!
I scaned it and got the 214 code. I have not posted enough to e-mail you, it takes 15 post before I can e-mail from this web site. You can e-mail me at magredls1@aolcom, Thanks
kymagred,
Sent it your way. If you need anything else from the book just let me know. The two manuals cost me almost $200.00 but I saved that and 10 times over. A true investment!!
