85 302 EFI rough idle
Thanks
Joel
I would recommend disconnecting the vacumn hose from the fuel pressure regulator, shake it to see if it spills gas. It is possible the diaphram has rotted causing the engine to suck gas from there.
Another possibility would be the MAP sensor, make sure it has vacumn to it, since it has been sitting for a while, a mouse or squirrel may have chewed tohe hose in two.
The fuel pressure regulator is located to the rear of the engine, I believe the drivers side, its a chrome looking can with a red plastic hose connected to it.
The map sensor is a black box, either on the fender or firewall with a lrge vacumn hose and a plug with 3 wires hooked to it.
I hope this helps, Tim
