Brake Trouble
1998 F150 had the brakes redone at about 90,000. EVER SINCE THEN (about 2 years ago) I've had trouble when the brakes are cool, wet or hot. They like to stick, squeal and engage my ABS on dry surfaces when they are cool or wet and when hot the fronts drag and smoke. I've had to pull off the interstate and let them cool off and it's not fun to drive in traffic sometimes. it happens more often than I like. Any answers?

you will have to take the wheels apart and inspect. somtimes the brake will fit to tight between the caliper support due to rust. if not check master cyl. for over full and poss. calipers starting to hang up. also check for loose frt. wheel bearings as well. these are some basic checks.

Also make sure that the front caliper sliders have some grease in them, but be gentle with pulling the boots back to check.
On the rears, make sure that the drum linkages and slide spots have some grease.
